Installing nodejs repo

wget http://nodejs.tchol.org/repocfg/el/nodejs-stable-release.noarch.rpm
yum localinstall --nogpgcheck nodejs-stable-release.noarch.rpm
yum install nodejs-compat-symlinks npm
rm nodejs-stable-release.noarch.rpm

Now install nodejs and npm

yum install nodejs npm

MyanmarKeyboard for iOS5 (iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch)

I released my keyboard for iOS5. But unfortunately, this is not free but selling. You can buy this keyboard at mobile shops in Myanmar. Online shopping is currently not available.

Here is steps to install the keyboard: (But you will need RegistrationCode to activate)

1. Add Source (Open Cydia. Managed -> Source -> Add ). And type ttkz.me/apt/ then tap Add Source

2. After adding the source, you will see ttkz.me source. And go into it.

3. Then choose MyanmarKeyboard

Type “Let It Snow” on Google

ကွန်ပျူတာ သုံးတာကြာလို့ ပူနေတယ်ဆိုရင်ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် Google ကိုသွားပြီး Let It Snow ဆို ပြီးရိုက်ရှာကြည့်လိုက်ပါ။ နောက်နည်းနည်းကြာရင် Screen မှာ အအေးငွေ့တွေရိုက်လာတာတွေ့ရမှာပါ။ အအေးငွေ့ကို Mouse Pointer လေးနဲ့ထောက်ပြီးလည်း ပြန်သုတ်လို့ရပါတယ်။

Let It Snow မတိုင်မှီ Do a Barrel Roll ဆိုပြီး ရှိပါသေးတယ်။ မစမ်းရသေးရင် စမ်းကြည့်လိုက်ပါ။

နောက်တစ်ခုက Google မှာပဲ google gravity လိုက်ရိုက်ပြီး I’m Feeling Lucky ကိုနှိပ်ကြည့်လိုက်ပါ။

KeyMagic for Ubuntu 11.10

KeyMagic-1.4 for Ubuntu does not work on Ubuntu 11.10 as it includes ibus-1.4 where API changes are made. So here is new KeyMagic 1.5 for Ubuntu 11.10. This won’t work with previous version of ibus which is less than 1.4. Ubuntu 10.x users still should use KeyMagic-1.4.

ဒီ Version မှာ အသစ်ပါလာတာကတော့ Instant Commit ဆိုတဲ့ feature ပါ။ ဒီ feature က စာရိုက်နေရင် composition နဲ့ မပေါ်တော့ ဘဲ commit လုပ်တာပါ။ composition ဆိုတာက စာရိုက်ရင် ရိုက်နေတဲ့ စာက Text Editor ကို တစ်ခါတည်း ရောက်မသွားသေးတဲ့ အချိန် Underline လေးနဲ့ ပြတာကို ခေါ်တာပါ။ တစ်ကယ်လို့ Instant Commit ကို ဖွင့်ထားမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ composition မပေါ်တော့ပဲ စာရိုက်ရင် ရိုက်သလို Text Editor ကို commit လုပ်လိုက်ပါ။ Instant Commit ကို သုံးချင်တယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ KeyMagic menu ကနေ Instant Commit ဆိုတာကို ရွေးလိုက်ရင်ရပါတယ်။

Instant Commit ရဲ့ အားသာချက်က ရိုက်ပြီးသားစာတွေကို ပြန် edit လုပ်တဲ့ အခါမှာပါ။ ဥပမာ – မြန်မာလို ရိုက်ထားတဲ့ document တစ်ခုကို ဖွင့်ပြီး edit လုပ်မယ်။ ‘ကျေ’ ဆိုတဲ့ စကားလုံးကို backspace နဲ့ ဖျက်တယ်ဆိုရင် ကျေ -> ကေ -> ​ေ ဆိုပြီး display order အတိုင်း ပျက်သွားပါလိမ့်မယ်။ တကယ်လို့သာ Instant Commit မဖွင့်ထားဘူးဆိုရင်တော့ ကျေ -> ကျ -> က ဆိုပြီး ပျက်သွားပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် Instant Commit က Application တိုင်းမှာ ကောင်းကောင်းအလုပ် မလုပ်ပါဘူး။ ဥပမာ – GoogleChrome မှာဆိုရင် ကောင်းကောင်း မလုပ်ပါဘူး။ ဒါကလည်း GoogleChrome က support မလုပ်လို့ပါ။ နောက်ထွက်မယ့် GoogleChrome တွေမှာ ရလာမယ်ထင်ပါတယ်။ Apple ရဲ့ Product (Pages, Keynote, Numbers) တွေမှာတော့ ကောင်းကောင်း အလုပ်လုပ်ပါတယ်။ Mozilla Firefox မှာလည်း ရပါတယ်။ Microsoft Office မှာတော့ စမ်းမကြည့်ရသေးပါဘူး။ ဒါကြောင့် GoogleChrome သုံးတဲ့ လူတွေကတော့ Instant Commit ကို ပိတ်ထားသင့်ပါတယ်။

I was being busy by working on a new version of KeyMagic 1.5 these days and nights ( sleepless nights ). KeyMagic 1.5′s whole GUI is re-written in C#. GUI would be look nice on Vista and later as I used new DWM‘s features, the aero glasses. Look the pic.

Myanmar Unicode Auto Tag WordPress Plugin

ကျွန်တော့် blog မှာတော့ မြန်မာလို၊ အင်္ဂလိပ်လို စိတ်ရှိရင်ရှိသလို့ ရေးတယ်။  အင်္ဂလိပ်လိုပဲ ရေးတယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ ပြဿနာမရှိဘူး။ မြန်မာလိုရေးပြီဆိုရင်တော့ ဖတ်တဲ့သူဆီမှာ မြန်မာလိုမပေါ်တာတွေ ဖြစ်လာပါပြီ။ ကျွန်တော့် blog မှာ Myanmar Unicode ကို သုံးပါတယ်။ ခုချိန်က Zawgyi သုံးရာကနေ Unicode ကို ပြောင်းနေတဲ့ ကာလ ဖြစ်တဲ့ အတွက် browser ရဲ့ default font ကို Zawgyi ထားတာရှိသလို Unicode ထားတဲ့ သူလည်းရှိတယ်။ Unicode Font ကို Default လုပ်ထားရင် တော့ ကျွန်တော့် blog ကို ဖတ်ရင် ပြဿနာမရှိပေမယ့်။ Zawgyi ကို Default ထားတဲ့ သူတွေကတော့ ကောင်းကောင်းဖတ်လို့ရမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။ Zawgyi User တွေ ဖတ်လို့ရအောင် ဆိုရင် ကျွန်တော့ blog မှာ CSS ရဲ့ font-family ကို Unicode Standard နဲ့ ကိုက်ညီတဲ့ Font တစ်ခုခုကို ထားထားဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ ဥပမာ font-family: Myanmar3 ဆိုပြီပေါ့။ (CSS သိတဲ့သူ ဆိုရင်တော့ နာလည်မှာပါ) ဒါဆိုရင် ဘယ်ဟာ တွေကို Myanmar3 လိုက်ထားမလဲ ဆိုတာ စဉ်းစားရပြီ၊ ဥပမာ – Post title, Post body နဲ့ sidebar က Recent Post တွေနဲ့ ကျန်တဲ့ မြန်မာစာ ပေါ်နိုင်တဲ့ နေရာတွေ အားလုံးမှာ font-family: Myanmar3 ဆိုပြီ လိုက်ထည့်ထားဖို့လိုတယ်။ ကျွန်တော် အဲလိုတွေ ထည့်ပေးတဲ့ script တွေ တင်ပေး ဖူးတယ် (http://ttkz.me/blog/2011/01/31/myanmar-unicode-and-wordpress-blog/)။ ကျွန်တော့ blog မှာဆို Post title တွေကို အင်္ဂလိပ်လိုတပ်တာများတယ်။ မြန်မာလို တပ်တယ်ဆိုတာ တော်တော် ရှားတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် Post title တွေကို Myanmar3 ပေါ်အောင် လုပ်ထားလိုက်တဲ့ အတွက် အင်္ဂလိပ် title တွေမှာ Myanmar3 နဲ့ ပေါ်တော့ ကြည့်မကောင်းတာတွေ ရှိပါတယ်။ Post body ဆိုလည်း အတူတူပါပဲ အင်္ဂလိပ်လို ရေးထားတာတွေက Myanmar3 နဲ့ပေါ်တော့ နဂို Theme က font နဲ့ မပေါ်တော့ ကြည့်ရဆိုးတယ်။ အောက်ကပုံတွေ ကြည့်ကြည့် လိုက်ရင်တော့ ရှင်းသွားမယ်ထင်တယ်။

jKeyMagic plugin for WordPress

I’ve just made jKeyMagic plugin for wordpress. This is first version. Myanmar3 and Zawgyi L – Unicode are already installed by default. There is no option to add additional keyboard for now. You will have to edit the plugin source yourself if you want to add new keyboard layout.

KeyMagic For iOS

What is KeyMagic.
KeyMagic is smart input-method-editor originally developed for Windows. But now, KeyMagic supports major OS including Windows, MacOSX, Linux and iOS. Upcoming kEditor Preview

Check out some preview on upcoming kEditor. On this release, you will be able to run test for editing keyboard layout just right there in the editor. I think this is must have and now we have this feature. This will save lot of time testing layouts, no more installing keyboard layout into IME.
